Artificial Grass Installation
28 February 2022
Artificial Grass Installation involves taking an area of your garden that would have once had a real grass lawn and installing artificial grass on it. It involves removing the topsoil, levelling the area, and then laying down a synthetic turf carpet.
When installing artificial grass, we always find that we need to remove the topsoil and level the area before we can start. This is because, if the area is not levelled, the artificial grass will not look even and will be more prone to wear and tear.
Once the area is levelled, we then lay down a synthetic turf carpet. This is a special type of carpet that is designed to be used with artificial grass. It is important that you use a synthetic turf carpet, as this will help to protect the artificial grass from wear and tear.
Once the synthetic turf carpet is in place, we then fit the artificial grass over it. We make sure that the artificial grass is fitted tightly against the synthetic turf carpet, so that there is no chance of it moving or coming loose.
Once the artificial grass is in place, we then fit the edging around the edge of the lawn. This helps to protect the artificial grass from being damaged, and it also gives the lawn a finished look.
The benefits of artificial grass installation are that it is low-maintenance and looks great all year round. You will never have to worry about mowing it, watering it, or fertilising it, and it will always look green and lush.
